帮女儿查法语家教时，发现了这首法语歌曲 《Magic Boulevard》(魔幻大道)，居然列于十首必听的法语歌曲之一。
整首歌散发着法国式的淡淡的凄美。
此歌描述的是关于一个电影院领座员唯美而忧伤的心情。随着空灵的钢琴伴随着低音大提琴的前奏，好像真的有一幅电影画面渐渐铺开在我们的眼前：一位散淡的女子在默默的注视着来往的喧嚣人群，而她的内心应该是随着电影情节而起伏跌宕，否则，怎么会有伴随着剧终的眼泪呢？无声的晶莹的珍珠般的眼泪在一张寂寞美丽的脸上慢慢流淌着，凄凉绝美。是一个声音触动了心底最隐蔽的哀伤呢？还是为那个伤心的落幕而感怀？

看到了比尔·盖茨写给青年人的十一点忠告，不知是真是假，但觉得很有道理，在此转贴：
1. Life is not fair, get used to it.
生活是不公平的；要去适应它。
2. The world won't care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something before you feel good about yourself.
这世界并不会在意你的自尊。这世界指望你在自我感觉良好之前先要有所成就。
3. You will not make 40 thousand dollars a year right out of high school. You won"t be a vice president with a car phone, until you earn both.
高中刚毕业你不会一年挣4万美元。你不会成为一个公司的副总裁，并拥有一部装有电话的汽车，直到你将此职位和汽车电话都挣到手。
4. If you think your teacher is tough, wait till you get a boss. He doesn't have tenure.

Vermont的秋枫摄影之旅遂告流产：非物质因去了Banff，长周末要陪太太，段岳衡老师已有去北边外拍的计划，而最热心的Henry也因Vermont太过人文而无法成行。于是一个人驱车来回800公里至北边的Algonquin 省立公园拍摄。适逢阴雨连绵，竟未有机会拿出相机。夜宿帐篷里，雨声不绝于耳，至冷。

正在筹划不日去美国Vermont拍摄秋景，单程开车要近九个小时。这几天正在研究行程，更新GPS地图。
